A Kettlebell is a traditional Russian cast iron or steel weight that resembles a cannonball with a handle.
Kettlebells have been used for hundreds of years in Russia. (One of the first written records of kettlebells was in 1704!)
Kettlebells focus on total-body (ploymetric) movements that are dynamic and powerful, and that get fast results.
"Not a single sport develops our muscular strength and bodies as well as kettlebell athletics," reported Russian magazine Hercules in 1913.
And scores of fitness experts still agree today!

Kettlebells are for everyone.

And that was at the elite level of competition;
The range is even wider when we train for general fitness rather than to compete.

Kettlebells are as safe as, or safer, than most other forms of workout equipment or program.
In fact, a properly supervised Kettlebell program has been prescribed by man-a-doctor and phsical therapist as a form of rehabilitation from injuries from other equipmnt and programs.
As with any exercise program or tool, proper technique and safety measures are required to prevent injury.
